Martin Škop, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University, and Tomáš Kašparovský, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University, today signed a memorandum of cooperation that paves the way for the creation of the MUNI Forensic Hub: a unique platform focused on expert, forensic, and investigative activities.
The Forensic Hub aims to connect experts from various fields and their excellent knowledge and support cooperation in the areas of criminology, forensic sciences, and expert activities. The platform's goals include coordinating expert activities, research, and educational activities in the field of criminalistics, forensic sciences, and expert activities at MU; sharing knowledge and experience among academics, practicing experts, and institutions; and popularizing forensic topics among professionals and the general public.
Through the Forensic Hub, Masaryk University wants to strengthen its position in this field, offer top-notch professional facilities, and create space for innovation and interdisciplinary cooperation.

At the end of last week, Masaryk University held graduation ceremonies for graduates of doctoral study programmes. More than 140 new PhD graduates from all ten faculties of Masaryk University received their diplomas – 49 of them are from our faculty. Congratulations to all!
