IMPAKT 2 - subprogram 1: Centers of cooperation in security research
On October 29, 2025, the Ministry of the Interior announced a public tender for research, experimental development, and innovation in the Strategic Support for the Development of Security Research in the Czech Republic 2026-2031 (IMPAKT 2) program, subprogram 1, Centers of Cooperation in Security Research.
The subject of the public competition is the selection of proposals for applied research and experimental development projects supported by public funds from the Ministry of the Interior for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives of the Program. Proposals for projects of a basic research nature cannot be submitted to this public competition.
- Deadline for submitting project proposals to SISTA: December 16, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
- Announcement of competition results: June 30, 2026
- Start of implementation of supported projects: September 2026
- Implementation period: minimum 52 months, maximum 64 months
We kindly ask all applicants to let us know their intention to participate in the competition as soon as possible.
- Internal deadline for budget review (entered in the SISTA application): December 2, 2025.
- After reviewing and approving the budget, it is necessary to enter the draft proposal into the ISEP documents and initiate electronic approval of the accompanying document no later than December 9, 2025.
- When planning personnel costs, follow the Methodological Sheet for Planning Personnel Costs.
By November 24, 2025, send HR manager Eva Žufanová a list of the research team members you plan to include in the project proposal. You will be sent a range of salaries that you can plan for individual employees.
In order to avoid unnecessary delays in granting access to SISTA to researchers and administrators (especially for proposals where MU acts as a partner), it is necessary to create a project proposal in ISEP as soon as possible, stating the number assigned by SISTA.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
- Organizations for research and dissemination of knowledge (research organizations) registered on the list of research organizations of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
- At least two applicants
MAXIMUM AMOUNT AND INTENSITY OF SUPPORT:
- Maximum amount of support for recipients of institutional support from the Ministry of the Interior: 20% of the total support for the project
- Maximum intensity of support per project: 100%
